Enthralled by a motherly response

Rebecca shared with me over her Blog about the conversation between her & one of her P5 'problem' student. When I read over the conversation sentences, it was just so amazing at how she handled the situation & I was smiling in my heart...

It was such a motherly response! I could never have done anything like that... just pondering about how she even phrases her sentences already made me quiver in bewilderment. Perhaps that's not really how my brain thinks... & maybe I have a more objective & sometimes 'descriptive' mindset... & less relational when it comes to handling children, especially those in primary school.

And being able to crack jokes, talk nonsense & have fun with kids is totally different from handling problematic ones... It's almost like a complete turn to figuring out the psychology of the child & counselling him or her. I'm totally lost at this kind of stuff...

Rebecca has a natural talent in this area & I'm just so glad that God has put her where her heart is. And I can only hope & pray that God put me where my heart is too. For life is too short to just let it pass by. In addition, she also has the heart, patience & ability to listen & relate to those 'special' children & people. Trying to figure out how she does it, simply blows my mind... I'm just awed!

Rebecca really makes my heart melt by just being the person that she is inside... & it would be such a priviledge to have a wife like her, if God permits in the near future... Well done, Dear! =)
