Usefulness of Doubt

In our Christian walk, we may find it difficult or sometimes even impossible to trust God enough. We doubt not His ability to do good things in our life, but whether He would do good things in our life. I am also one such person who faces such struggles... yet God is gracious in letting me in on a certain truth which I came across during my bible study this week.

This is an excerpt from this bible study that I'm currently undergoing. It says...

Recognize that if you could not doubt, you could not believe. So don't be intimidated by your doubts.

Robert Brown, a Christian writer & poet expresses it like this, "You call for faith; I show you doubt, to prove that faith exists. The more of doubt, the stronger faith, I say, if faith overcomes doubt."

Those who doubt most, & yet strive to overcome their doubts, turn out to be some of Christ's strongest disciples.
